These are some of the recent work I have done using cold porcelain clay and some other mediums for christmas markets. Some of the work could not be photographed before selling. My photographer is vacationing leaving me no choice but to take these pictures through phone. Not the best result I know!
I will be working on similar stuff in future. These are done in between the painting time.

Ganesh is the Lord of Knowledge and is also Obstacle Remover. Before starting anything new it's considered to be auspicious to seek blessing of Lord Ganesha.

Its been delayed for long but I am happy to finally take out some time to write today about what's been happening.
I have been finding myself to go through the path of spirituality and recently going through life changing experiences. I know in this blog I write or put the pictures of my artwork.
Since I have been into a totally different frequency than before the work has also been different. which is always exciting. Also recently I started working with Cold Porcelain Clay which is made at home and is air dried. I will be putting up the pictures of recent Brunswick festival and Bromley By Bow Open Studio and art market...and my progressing work for an upcoming exhibition.

Let's  start with  some of the older work. These Fridge Magnets were done for Brunswick Festival at Brighton.

Sunglasses pouch : This one is one of my favourites in terms of design. Most of the the work painted on these products are done freestyle. This one came out just the way I visualised in my head.

Old Sketches
I used to make portraits on wooden trays and bowls that became quite popular as gift items. This was commissioned and was made on a wooden bowl. Unfortunately I don't have the photo of the finished product but I found these sketches, these were done before I started to paint the portrait inside the bowl.
The idea to make sketches on paper first helps to experiment. These type of sketches are quick sketch done with faster approach using dry pastels and ballpoint pen and later on graphics are added over it.

Today I am posting some of my older works that I had completely forgotten about. Some of it is already sold and I only have the photos of the initial sketch for some of them. This will give a peek into the process and also shed light on the style I used to draw in  past.

Its been a while that I have been away from writing anything about what's been happening in my creative life. I have just been trying to finish few of the products that took a little longer than I estimated. Also as the summers are on, I have  been spending more time outdoors getting inspiration than to sit and finish work lying in my studio.
But enough of  procrastination and today I feel bit relaxed as work is just about to finish. Finally! Also it was totally worth the wait as these new products look really good. The photos will follow soon.

                                                  Peek through the sketch book

For today I will be posting from my sketch file. These are the series of sketches done in a storyboard style. Its been done in freestyle using only 3-4 colours on a black paper sketchbook. The theme is  'Night'. I would like to paint more scenarios with lighter endings. Enjoy!
